What is a Jiffy bag made from?
The Jiffy Airkraft envelopes from Transpack are made from a white kraft paper outer with a thin polyethylene coating which makes the mailer water resistant. The inside of these envelopes features a fully laminated lining of Jiffy Bubble wrap. This gives excellent shock absorption and provides protection for the contents of the parcel.
Why is it called an AirKraft Bag?
The bags are called a Jiffy AirKraft Bag simply by how they look. AirKraft is a product differentiation name and when broken apart makes it more sense: "Air" refers to the air bubbles on the inner lining that protects your products from bumps and scratches. "Kraft" refers to the strong outer, white Kraft paper covering = "AirKraft"
