How to measure coloured poly bags bags?
Transpack Polythene Bags are measured as follows: width first, then length. So this bag is approx. 178mm wide by 406mm long.
Size Tolerances: Please note sizes can vary by a few mm due to industry-allowed manufacturing tolerances - Width +/- 3mm or 2%, Length +/- 6mm or 2%, Gauge +/- 10%. This means that the sizing could vary very slightly between batches. If you are concerned please ask for a free sample from our current batch of stock to test your product in.
How can I be sure that I am ordering the right bag?
Double check the measurements against your product, remembering that these bags are flat and if your product has depth that will impact on the width you need and you could well need a wider bag than you think. If you are still not sure which size you need we can send you a sample to test – please email sales@transpack.co.uk with your request, and don’t forget to give us your address.
What is Transpack's returns policy?
If you do happen to order the wrong bags or you find it is not suitable for your purposes, we will happily accept them back, unused and in a saleable condition. You will need to call us right away on 02380 869999 or email us on sales@transpack.co.uk and request a returns number (RMA). We will need to receive the bags back within 14 days of when you received them. You will need to send them back at your own cost and once received in our warehouse we will make the refund to you quickly.

These bags have resin code 4 and are recyclable. You should check with your local Council to see if you can recycle plastic bags and film with your household recycling. Some Local Authorities will take it away but it is limited.
For those who can't recycle plastic films and bags at home, you can take it to be recycled at carrier bag collection points at the larger stores of most major supermarkets including Tesco, Asda, Morrisons, Sainsbury's, The Co-op and Waitrose.
